Fresh-Milled Goods

Our Story

Breadberry Co. began with a simple desire to bring bread back to its roots—made slowly, simply, and with intention.

In our home kitchens in Central Texas, we mill our flour fresh and bake in small batches, preserving the nutrients and goodness found in whole grains, just as they were created to be enjoyed. We believe food is a gift—meant to nourish our bodies, bring people together, and be enjoyed with gratitude.

There are no preservatives and no shortcuts here. Just honest ingredients, thoughtful processes, and bread meant to be shared around the table with the people you love.

It’s our hope that every loaf not only feeds your family well, but also becomes part of the moments that matter most.

  • We have a dedicated web-app built just for processing orders. Click the “Pre-Order” button above, browse our available products, and when you are ready to place an order, you can quickly set up an account.

Orders are open based on our weekly schedule. Check the banner at the top of the shop page to see when the order window opens and closes. Typically, orders close several days before the Saturday pickup.

  • Freshly milled flour is flour in its most complete and natural form.

It comes from whole grain kernels that are milled right before baking, meaning the bran, germ, and endosperm are still intact. This preserves the full character of the grain—including its natural fiber, oils, nutrients, and rich flavor.

Because nothing has been removed or refined for long shelf life, freshly milled flour tends to be more aromatic, more nutrient-dense, and more flavorful. It also behaves a bit differently in baking, often creating bread that feels more satisfying and full-bodied.

Most store-bought flour is refined and processed for convenience and stability, which allows it to last longer on the shelf and bake consistently in a wide range of recipes. In that process, some of the most nutrient-rich parts of the grain are typically reduced or removed.

Both have their place in the kitchen, but freshly milled flour offers a closer connection to the grain as it was created—whole, simple, and full of natural goodness.

For us, it’s about choosing food in its most honest form and enjoying bread the way it was meant to be experienced: fresh, nourishing, and shared around the table.
